Have you decided that this is the time for making and achieving your goals in 2017? Or did you start the year off with good intentions and now feel as though the resolutions are becoming harder to stick with? You’ll learn how to make this the year you stick to all of your resolutions.
Did you make big plans for your new year of resolutions only to find yourself struggling?
There is so much potential for change in your life. To begin, simply set your goals. Figure out what you need to do to get where you want in the future by making smaller “mini” goals towards your ultimate goal. You don’t want to overwhelm yourself by taking on too much and then end up giving up. Be patient and give yourself time to get things done. You don’t want to rush and end up somewhere far from your goal.
You need to be one step ahead of your objectives, but it doesn’t mean you have to plan out the next 5 years. You should think ahead but only one step at a time. Pursuing your dreams can be scary. You may have to step out of your comfort zone and make a commitment to change, and that can be uncomfortable at first. Don’t get in your own way by making excuses. Simply make your goals and begin to take steps towards achieving them.
Commit to a balance of hard work and having patience with yourself. Nobody is going to do it for you. It’s up to you to make the effort. You won’t regret it, and in one year you won’t be in the exact same position you are now.
